If you are looking for a professional Piano Teacher in the Pacific Northwest, look no further! I am an experienced, knowledgable teacher and can help you unlock your full potential by providing personalized technical and musical guidance. I want each of my students to have a complete musical understanding, from good technique to a theoretical knowledge of music and a love of the piano! I use the Adventure Time Series, as well as, Mikrokosmos by Bartok, and I pull from Jazz Standards, Chopin, Clementi, Mozart, and other great composers.
Due to COVID-19, all lessons are online until further notice. Distance learning is an excellent way to connect with an experienced and knowledgable teachers who may not be in your hometown! Delve deep into music theory, piano technique (scales, arpeggios, chord patterns, and more!), and advance your artistic and musical interpretation all from the comfort of you home.
Lessons are a combination of music theory, technique, reading, and more than a dash of fun! Success in learning is finding the right Piano Teacher; someone who has a deep understanding of the material, a love of teaching, and a connection with the student. My teaching style focuses on giving the student the fundamental skills to be able to achieve their goals in music. I emphasize exploration of musical ideas coupled with good technique and musical understanding.
I recognize the potential in each on of my students, work to give the fundamental skills to be a musician, and foster a love for the piano. Each lesson is catered to the students musical needs in a fun learning environment.
